Physical Effects of Alcohol

What are the physical affects of alcohol, and why are these drinks so bad for you? This article will give you a crash course on just some of the more common effects of drinking alcohol, and hopefully encourage you to drastically reduce your consumption, if not give it up altogether.

First of all, one of the first and most important physical effects of alcohol is that it changes behavior, particularly at a rate of higher than .05. at this point, drinkers behavior is much different than it would be while sober.

At this point, it can include activities such as more drinking, drinking while intoxicated, sexual activity, just to name a few.

Also, when the number is over 10, slurred speech usually results, and is one of the most common symptoms of being drunk. At this point, somebody with this much alcohol will have much slower reaction times and their critical thinking skills are much lower than usual.

Also, often times intoxication results in the inability to control your muscles, which makes you disoriented. In fact, in some rare but notable cases, alcohol has been known to put people into a coma, ultimately resulting in either being paralyzed or death.

Obviously, this is by far the worst of the physical effects of drinking alcohol, and doesn't happen often, but why put yourself at risk?

So how long does it take these effects to come about? Generally, it depends on how much alcohol you can tolerate, but sometimes it can happen in under 10 minutes, and sometimes it takes much longer.

Obviously, while the above effects listed are terrible, you can actually reduce them with the use of dandelion. How is this done? Quite simply, dandelion root is utilized to help clean out the liver from the alcohol that has just been put in it, which enables your bowels to be cleaned out as well.

However, the best method, of course, is to simply stop drinking altogether, and find another activity to take its place, such as playing sports, reading, etc. make sure it's something you enjoy and that will take your mind of your drinking habit.
